So, what to expect by BudgetPal after v.1.3? Let me list here what is on my mind but as usual I am open to suggestions and feedback. First I would like to implement a way to have more than one account, in case people want to keep entries for themselves and someone else. Then, following the suggestion of a young user, there will be a way to see the cumulative amount of a specific type of expense/income, in case user is using the type more as a fund than as a balance keeper. Balances would then need some pie chart representation to provide a general feeling on where your money goes in a quick glance. After that, maybe a better tabular representation might get in the queue, but finally the next step is move the database to CoreData. Once that is in place the jump to iCloud should be quite natural, and finally moving to iPad and maybe even Mac OS X could be an option. Will see.
